Who is she?

My full name is Katherine Josephine Sedgwick, but you can just call me Katie. In 2019 I graduated with summa cum laude from Savannah College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in advertising (with a focus in art direction) and a minor in graphic design.

Since graduating, I have started my very own design company with my two partners who specialize in marketing and advertising. Together, we make KK&G Studios. 

I’m a pretty open book – I’m not afraid to make fun of myself, or tell you like it is. I’ve always had a pretty good ability to feel, understand, and relate to other people’s lives. To put myself in their shoes. I see advertising as a way to do the same thing – to connect to people.

I became interested in the art of advertising because my father was an art director for several ad agencies (ask me which ones). However, what finally pulled me into the game was the lack of authenticity I see in most advertising today. For me, taking on any sort of role in an advertising agency means keeping everything honest and real, and remembering how to put myself in other people's shoes.
